Anne Sofie von Otter in Ambronay!

from Tuesday 19 April 2011

Exceptional evening on April 19th, 2011 at 20:30

Before the Théatre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and the Wigmore Hall in London, the recital "From Monteverdi to Haendel" will draw together some of the airs that marked the career of one of the greatest mezzo in history, Anne Sofie von Otter.

A delightful bond already unites this great performer and our artist in residence, Leonardo García Alarcón. They revisit a repertoire where, according to the Swedish press, "masterly pieces are interpreted with fire, discipline, wisdom and with a treatment of rhythmic pulsations which is irresistible to the listener". A musical moment of exception that Ambronay offers through the patronage of the Caisse d'Épargne.

Reservations open on February 15th, 2011. Single tarif: 20 €
